Ranking 5 biggest offseason targets in 2019

With the Buccaneers heading into a critical 2019 offseason, they are poised to make significant moves. Here are five potential targets for Tampa Bay come spring.

The 2018 campaign is all but over for the 4-7 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The playoffs are a pipe dream, and head coach Dirk Koetter sits on one of the hottest seats in the NFL.

For Bucs fans, it is time to look towards the offseason. With free agency and the NFL Draft still months away, let’s begin thinking about potential options for Tampa Bay in both free agency and the draft.

Tampa Bay’s salary cap situation looks rough on paper. However, the Bucs can dump a ton of salary, if they decide to move on from some veteran players. Vinny Curry, DeSean Jackson and even Gerald McCoy can open up tens of millions of dollars for the Bucs.

With a way to open up cap space, Tampa could be notable players in free agency. General manager Jason Licht needs to turn the Buccaneers around immediately. He needs to hit on veteran contributors.

The Draft will also be essential for the Bucs. They will likely land a top-ten pick come April. Hitting on their first-round selection is a must.

The Bucs have so many needs. On offense, they need to find more reliable offensive linemen. On defense, the list is almost endless. Every unit has holes.

Here are five players who should be high on the Buccaneers priority list this offseason.
