The Buccaneers could be facing some bad news with one of their star linebackers.
Tampa Bay is concerned Kwon Alexander suffered a torn ACL in Sunday’s Week 7 matchup against the Browns, according to NFL Network. He was injured a few plays before halftime and did not return, but he walked off the field on his own power.
Potential bad news for the #Bucs: The concern is that star LB Kwon Alexander suffered a torn ACL, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo. He had been in contract talks on a long-term deal. The hope is for good news on the all-important MRI.

He felt a pop, from what I was told. Not good. Contract year for him. Turned down the team’s offers for an extension. Could be a rough turn for him. https://t.co/kyT50TjT7S

The 24-year-old linebacker had seven tackles (five solo) and a pass deflection before suffering the injury.
Alexander, who is in the final year of his rookie contract, had been in talks with the Bucs about a possible extension. But his injury could complicate negotiations.
