Keith Armstrong lands with Buccaneers 

Previous Falcons exclusive teams coordinator Keith Armstrong, who was with Atlanta the earlier 11 seasons, was employed as the new exclusive teams coordinator by the Buccaneers on Wednesday,  according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Instances.

The Falcons fired Armstrong alongside with offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian and defensive coordinator Marquand Manuel previous month just after the workforce concluded previous time 7-9.

Sarkisian and Manuel, who had been both first-time NFL coordinators, have nonetheless to floor on the NFL coaching carousal. 

Armstrong joins the staff members of new Tampa Bay head coach Bruce Arians, who was his higher education coach at Temple.

Ben Kotwica, a previous assistant with the Redskins and Jets, was employed as the Falcons’ exclusive teams coordinator Wednesday.

He was on the Jets staff members with Falcons coach Dan Quinn in 2007 and 2008 when Quinn was the defensive line coach.

Kotwica was the protection/exclusive teams excellent manage assistant those people two years.  

Armstrong despatched specials teams players Eric Weems and Devin Hester to the Professional Bowl for the duration of his tenure with the Falcons. Also, cornerback Justin Bethel was a Professional Bowl alternate this time.

Armstrong to Devonta Freeman even though showing movie of his poor block that led to the blocked punt: “What the hell is this. Glance at this crap. You kidding me? It ain’t Ok to go all over listed here and not know. That ain’t you. It ain’t Ok. Truly do not care. That’s as selfish an act as you can make. Develop the (bleep) up.” (Comment: It’s possible a foreshadowing of the skipped block in Super Bowl LI?)

To Jacques Smith: “You do what I convey to you to do. You ain’t superior more than enough to be an ass(bleep). You understand that?”

To Ra’shede Hageman: “Do you get started on protection? No. So what you going to do, sit your ass on the sidelines and watch the (bleeping) recreation? To Goodman: “Mallicah, I have been telling you for two years. Right there, the similar crap. Do you get started? You a superstar? How quite a few Professional Bowls you been to? You received a gold (Corridor of Fame) jacket? So who are you? Coach Smitty requested me, ‘What do you believe about Mallicah Goodman.’ ‘He do not want it, coach.’ That’s what’s claimed. Armstrong was also a head coaching prospect and interviewed for quite a few openings, which include the Falcons opening before Quinn was employed.
