The Tampa Bay Buccaneers got some good news on the injury front Thursday, but are still without one of their best defenders.
Gerald McCoy still isn’t practicing, nor is fellow defensive lineman Vinny Curry, but rookie cornerback Carlton Davis was upgraded to practice participation:
Quarterback Jameis Winston (hip) was a full participant, while safety Jordan Whitehead (hamstring) was also downgraded from limited participation to none at Thursday’s practice. Offensive tackle Demar Dotson (knee/shoulder) was limited yet again.
