Could Le’Veon Bell land with the Bucs in 2019?

It appears the Le’Veon Bell saga might finally be ending in Pittsburgh, which could have one of the NFL’s most explosive and dynamic playmakers hitting the open market next offseason.

For many reasons, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could make sense as a potential landing spot for the three-time Pro Bowler.

Obviously, Bell will command a huge pay day, something he didn’t get to his satisfaction from the Steelers. Depending on the moves Tampa Bay makes after the 2018 season, they could have plenty of cap space to break the bank for a versatile talent like Bell.

While Peyton Barber has been solid, second-round rookie Ronald Jones II has struggled to make an impact, even when fully healthy. Nothing on the Bucs’ current running back depth chart would keep them from making a move for Bell, who is among the league’s best at the position.

All of that aside, the Bucs could be experiencing some upheaval this offseason in terms of coaching and management, depending on how the rest of the 2018 season plays out. Who ends up making the decisions for 2019 and beyond will obviously have a significant impact on whether or not the Bucs chase a marquee player like Bell.

Should the Bucs go after Bell in free agency? Will he be worth the money, or should the team be wary of paying top dollar for a running back, no matter how talented?
